RE-CYCLING PROGRAM :

  • YOU can recycle. Take the time to separate your trash and be sure those items make it to the appropriate bin.
  • IF your community does not have a recycle program – let your elected officials know it matters to you, and you are demanding it matter to them.
  • Educate yourself as to which plastics are the best for you to buy, and refuse to buy products that are not within the standards for recycling.
  • Reuse – find ways yourself to reuse your plastic packages.
  • Let the manufactures know by email or letter or phone that when they used twice as much, or even 4 times the packaging they needed for a very small item, that decision of theirs hampered your decision to purchase their product.
  • Be the one to start an expanded recycling program in your community.
  • If we treat the planet with little regard, our negligence will exact its price on our lives, and redesign our children’s future.
  • If we treat people poorly, people will find a way to treat us poorly
  • If we treat business haphazardly, our return on investment will mirror our laziness.
  • If we treat the planet with little regard, our negligence will exact its price on our lives, and redesign our children’s future.

There is a need for extensive improvements in the recycling of plastics.

Lata Industries, is committed to actions that will contribute to the overall improvement of plastic management.

  • We belong to organizations that focus on the continual improvement of plastic (and other) environmentally responsible management.
  • We use recycled plastic for all products that meet the customers’ packaging requirements.
  • All our plastic waste is recycled – not one piece of plastic leaves our warehouse as waste.
  • Our company vision includes the ownership of a recycling system and an extrusion system that feeds that plastic resin right back into our next plastic package.

PUBLIC AWARENESS :

Ignorance is not always bliss, and what we don’t know, can hurt us
  • At Lata Industries, we focus on serving our client’s needs, and helping the public understand their role in the environmentally responsible handling of plastic packaging.
  • Our website includes information about the different plastics and their particular effect on the community and the world at large. We participate in various public forums that educate the public on the potential long-term damage to our planet if we don’t handle our modern conveniences responsibly.
